Christopher Keevil, Partner & Managing Director

Chris is Partner and Managing Director of Wellspring, and is based in the firm’s New Haven office. He brings over 30 years of experience in strategic planning, process improvement, revenue generation, growth strategies, organizational development, alliances and mergers, board development and other areas.

Previously, Chris was a Partner at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG). While at BCG, he was head of the Operational Effectiveness practice area for the Americas, a member of the Organizational Practice Area, and a member of the BCG Strategy Institute, which develops new strategy approaches, using a multi-disciplinary orientation. He also oversaw the training of all consultants for the Boston, New York, D.C. and Atlanta offices.

Prior to BCG, Chris was a Consultant at Harbridge House, a consulting firm that serves top corporations using a case-study method to train senior managers in strategy and organizational excellence.

Chris has been an instructor at the Yale School of Management. Additionally, he was the General Manager of the Keith Martin Ballet Company in Portland, Oregon. He has studied solar energy engineering and house construction at Northeastern University, and worked for eight years as a solar home builder and carpenter in Vermont and Oregon. He has also done extensive work in the area of Youth Development.

Chris received his Master’s in Public and Private Administration from Yale School of Management (an MBA for nonprofit, governmental, and for-profit businesses). He graduated with a BA in Music from Amherst College, where he graduated summa cum laude.

Ashley Lanfer, Partner

Ashley is a Partner and oversees Wellspring’s Boston office. She brings experience in strategic planning, impact assessment, communications and systems thinking.

Previously, Ashley worked as a Portfolio Manager for Strategic Grant Partners, a foundation and pro-bono consulting firm. Prior to that, Ashley worked as a Senior Researcher for the Barr Foundation, managed the Heart of the City project at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, and facilitated land-based microenterprise schemes with agro-pastoralists in rural Kenya.

Ashley is a founding Board Member of My Sister’s Keeper, an organization that supports Sudanese women through education and advocacy. Ashley received her MESc at Yale University’s School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. She graduated with a BA in English and Environmental Studies from Dartmouth College, where she won the Faculty Award for Excellence in Environmental Studies.

Eunice Lim, Partner

Eunice is a Partner with Wellspring and oversees our West Coast presence, working out of Los Angeles. She brings a range of skills in strategy consulting, program design and implementation, people management, market research, and business planning. She has worked with clients in education, international development, health, youth development, performing arts, and other fields.

Previously, Eunice worked in portfolio management and operations at Fenix International in Uganda, helping bring affordable solar power to the rural poor. Leading the portfolio management department, Eunice overhauled the function for monitoring and boosting loan performance among an unbanked customer base. Prior to that, Eunice worked with various domestic and international nonprofits as well as government agencies. Eunice received her MPP with a focus on political and economic development from the Harvard Kennedy School and her BA in economics and psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.

Mary Wissemann, Partner

Mary has been a Partner at Wellspring for over ten years and founded the Boston office.  During her tenure at Wellspring, Mary has consulted on strategy, business planning, and organizational development with a broad array of clients, including direct service providers, advocacy groups, universities, research institutions, foundations, and public/private partnerships. 

Prior to Wellspring, Mary spent eight years with the Boston Consulting Group, leading teams consulting to Fortune 500 companies on questions related to growth and organizational effectiveness.  At BCG, Mary was a member of the health care practice group and the career development committee.

Mary has also held leadership positions in a variety of mission-driven organizations. Most recently, Mary oversaw direct service for BELL, a national nonprofit that partners with schools and districts to offer high-quality summer programming to 12,000 children in underserved communities across the country.  Earlier, Mary headed sales and marketing for UpToDate, the leading online clinical reference for physicians.  Mary also worked as a small business lender for Shorebank Corporation, a unique bank holding company with a social mission to invest in low-income neighborhoods in Chicago.  Mary’s first position out of college was as a high school mathematics teacher.

Mary received her Master's in Public and Private Administration from the Yale School of Management. She graduated with a BA in History from Wesleyan University where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa in her junior year.

Amy Anenberg, Senior principal

Amy is a Senior Principal in Wellspring’s New York office. She brings experience in program strategy, performance evaluation, market analysis and fundraising.

Previously, Amy worked at Robin Hood Foundation in the Jobs and Economic Security Portfolio where she monitored, analyzed and reported on the performance of new and existing grantees. Amy also worked in marketing and fundraising at Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, a social service agency in Manhattan and was selected to serve as an AVODAH Fellow, where she provided pro bono civil legal services to low income New Yorkers as part of a Jewish service program.

Amy received her MBA from Columbia Business School. She graduated with a BS in Social Policy from Northwestern University, where she graduated summa cum laude.

Allison (FrY) boxer, senior Principal

Allison Catherine Boxer is a Senior Principal and the Office Lead of Wellspring’s New York office.  She brings experience in business strategy across diverse industries including financial services, market research, retail, and non-profits.

Previously, Allison was an Associate Product Manager at OppenheimerFunds in New York, where she focused on retirement planning strategies and providing tools for individuals to better prepare financially for the future.  Allison also worked at MarketTree, a boutique market research firm, conducting quantitative and qualitative research to help large firms make strategic decisions.

Allison was previously the Vice Chair of the Board for LEAD, an organization based in Houston. In New York, Allison was previously the Vice Chair of PR and Marketing for the Non-Profit Boards Clearinghouse Committee of the Junior League, which plans and executes the “Leadership Through Governance” training course for non-profit board members across the city.  She was also a Mentor in the New York Public School Mentorship Program.

Allison received a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.  While at HBS, she was on the leadership team behind the Harvard Social Enterprise Conference.  Her Bachelors degree is in Sociology/Anthropology from St. Olaf College, where she graduated magna cum laude with Distinction in her major and was inducted as a member of Phi Beta Kappa.  She has spent significant time abroad, studying in Tanzania, Costa Rica, England, and China.

rachel light, principal

Rachel is a Principal in Wellspring’s New Haven office. She brings experience in strategy consulting, business planning, growth strategy, market research and performance measurement. Her practice is devoted to helping nonprofit organizations confront major strategic questions. She has worked with health care, social services, religious action, child welfare, and other organizations on issues such as expansion, mission fulfillment, program alignment, and organizational sustainability. 

Previously, Rachel worked in her own consulting business to conceptualize and develop a birth center at Yale New Haven Hospital. She has also taught middle school science in New York. Rachel is a past Board Member of the Jewish Community Center of Greater New Haven and past chair of the Strategic Planning Committee for Ezra Academy. Rachel currently coaches junior varsity and varsity basketball for boys in 5th through 8th grade.  

Rachel received an MD from the Yale School of Medicine, where she graduated with Honors and received the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation. She graduated with a BA in Biology from Swarthmore College, where she received High Honors and membership in Sigma Xi National Honor Society.

Zana Davey, Consultant

Zana Davey is a Consultant in Wellspring’s Boulder office. She brings experience in strategic planning, market research, fundraising strategies, and organizational development. She has particular experience working with nonprofits and foundations in the healthcare and social service spaces.

Previously, Zana interned with the Humana Foundation, working directly with the Executive Director on grant-making strategy, as well as forging and developing partnerships with over twenty organizations to advance the Foundation’s goals. Additionally, she interned for Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado where she conducted market and internal research to inform the organization’s board retreat and strategic goal setting.

Liam Grace-Flood,

Liam is a Consultant in Wellspring's New Haven office. He brings experience with technology strategy and innovation in mission-driven organizations.

Previously, Liam worked with the Boston Mayor's Innovation and R&D team; was a Civic Digital Fellow at the International Trade Administration; and won a Thomas J. Watson Fellowship. Liam is currently an MBA candidate and Silver Scholar at the Yale School of Management.

He holds a dual BA from Wheaton College in Mathematics and Studio Arts with Physics and Computer Science minors and studied in an Engineering dual degree program at Dartmouth College.

Molly Moulton, consultant

Molly Moulton is a Consultant in Wellspring’s Boston office. She brings experience in financial and market analysis, fundraising, and organizational operations.

Previously, Molly worked as an MBA consultant for the National Park Service, developing a strategy to support cabin camp operations at Catoctin Mountain Park. Prior to business school, Molly worked as a fundraiser for the MIT Sloan School of Management, U.S. Senator Edward J. Markey’s special and re-election campaigns, and Project Bread – The Walk for Hunger.

Molly received her MBA from the Yale School of Management. While at Yale, Molly served as a Yale Center for Customer Insights Fellow, consulting for the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, and served on the Board of Directors and as a tutor with New Haven Reads, a local youth literacy organization. She graduated with a BA in American Studies from Tufts University, magna cum laude.

Asia Brown, consultant

Asia Brown is a Consultant at Wellspring working in the New Haven office. She brings experience in community-engaged research and a range of other qualitative research approaches, as well as in the creation of financial tools for budgeting. Previously, Asia interned at the Instituto de Efectividad Clinica y Sanitaria (IECS) in Buenos Aires to investigate the characteristics of post-partum depression among Argentinian women, and at the Yale Center for Clinical Investigation to support a range of research projects.

Asia received her dual Masters degrees from the Yale School of Public Health and the Yale Divinity School and her BA in History of Public Health from Yale College. She has full professional proficiency in Spanish.

Michael Schub is a Consultant in Wellspring’s New York office and participates in all aspects of the firm's strategy work for nonprofit organizations and institutions. He brings experience in qualitative research, strategic communications, and group facilitation. 

Previously, Michael taught International Baccalaureate courses at a boarding high school in South Korea. He also worked in communications in Washington, D.C. and conducted business development research for an education product development consultancy in Brooklyn. 

Michael received his MA/MBA dual-degree from the Klingenstein Center at Columbia Teachers College and from Columbia Business School. While at Columbia, Michael consulted on behalf of the New York State Association of Independent Schools. He graduated with a BA in English and International Relations from Brown University.

CAroline Gonzalez, Associate

Caroline is an Associate in Wellspring’s Boston Office.

Previously, Caroline worked as a research assistant at the Sackler Institute of Graduate Biomedical Sciences at New York University. Working in the Neuro-ophthalmology Department, she conducted research studying the vision deficits associated with Parkinson’s Disease and co-authored a paper seeking publication. Caroline also volunteered at Boston Healthcare for the Homeless, a healthcare system serving the Boston area, assisting in patient care and operations. While at Dartmouth, she also worked as a tutor and note-taker through the Student Accessibility Services Center.

Caroline received a BA in Global Health and Medical Anthropology at Dartmouth College, where she pursued research through the Presidential Scholars Research Program with faculty members in the epidemiology department of the Geisel School of Medicine.

emily sandberg, director of administration

Emily is Wellspring's Director of Administration and is based in the New Haven office. Emily manages human resources, legal, insurance, scheduling, coordinating company events, working with our Office Leads on office logistics and support.

Previously, Emily was the Executive Director of the Jewish Community Alliance of Southern Maine, where she oversaw Federation and JCC functions, the community relations council, the preschool and summer camp. Prior to that, she was the Assistant Dean and Director of the Public Service Center at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where she oversaw community service initiatives for undergraduate and graduate students at MIT. Before that, Emily was the Manager of Annual Fund student programs at MIT, where she worked with students on fundraising initiatives and engagement in reunion activities.

Emily is involved in the local Jewish community in New Haven. She enjoys reading, walking, traveling, and spending time with her children.

Luis Olmo-Rivera

Luis is Wellspring’s Administrative Coordinator, based in our New Haven office. He is responsible for managing data tracking, supporting consultant recruiting activities, office communications, and managing office technology, supplies, and furnishings for Wellspring’s offices. Luis works collaboratively with the Director of Administration on scheduling, projects and other administrative duties.

Prior to Wellspring, Luis was the operations manager at Achieve Hartford, a nonprofit that works with private sector leaders to ensure educational success for Hartford students from high school through post-secondary education completion.

Luis also lived and worked in Washington DC where he worked for a national foster care and adoption advocacy organization, a rail passengers advocacy organization, and helped launch a successful restaurant and catering business. He skills include operations, technology, logistics and more.

Born and raised in rural northeastern Connecticut, Luis attended Eastern Connecticut University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Public Policy and Government.

Luis was a member of the Industry Advisory Board for the Pathways Academy for Technology & Design school, interned for a CT State Representative, a US Congressman, and played in a band with his friends in college.
