Eunice Lim, Managing Director

​

Eunice is a Partner and Managing Director at Wellspring and leads its work in diversity, equity, and inclusion. She brings a range of skills in strategy consulting, program design and implementation, people management, market research, and business planning. She has worked with clients in poverty alleviation, education, international development, health, youth development, and other fields. 

 

Previously, Eunice worked in portfolio management and operations at Fenix International in Uganda, helping bring solar power and access to finance to the rural poor. Leading the portfolio management department, Eunice developed the function for monitoring and boosting loan performance among an unbanked customer base. In operations, Eunice launched service centers across Uganda to meet customer's needs closer to their homes.

 

Prior to that, Eunice also worked with various international organizations and government agencies. These experiences range from working with Instiglio, a start-up organization, to introduce social impact bonds and results-based financing to Colombia where it eventually set up its largest office, to working with the Development Academy of the Philippines to develop a strategy for a standardized and transparent whole-of-government human resources system. 

 

Eunice currently serves as a Board member of the American Jewish World Service, which strives to end poverty and promote human rights in Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Eunice received her MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School, focusing her coursework on political and economic development. Eunice graduated with a BA in economics and psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated magna cum laude.
